The summer is gone, and while outside’s Deeperfect headquarters in Florence the leaves are gathering on the sidewalks, the notorious label prolongs the sunny season for you by taking you to South America, where the summer is just starting. The new “Al Palonco” ep by Brazilian Andre Butano and Chilean Pablo Inzunza begins with a tribal dance, so well recognized with Deeperfect’s sound. “Al Palonco”‘s original version sets you in the mood, putting you there, under a palm tree, enjoying soft sun rays penetrating through the giant green leaves and touching your body. Both the dub version, and the powerful remix by Onno signal that even at the beaches, the day is over and it is time to make way for the rhythm of the night. Both versions are energetic and somewhat darker, with Onno’s remix feeling like a ride in a middle-sized spaceship. Then, when the night is gone and you look around you, seeing all the mystery of the night fades away, you realize that it’s once again, play time on the beach. “Mondo” wraps up some major chords and tanks you with day light energies: enough to keep you dancing.
