Gaga’s interpretation is even more stripped-down, going for a more cavernous approach with its spacious effects while everything is held together with a rubber-band baseline. Natch! & Dothen’s remix of “Dope Safari” seals the deal in similar manner. Persistent hats provide the momentum, the vibe is dubbed-out, and distressed sonic manipulation is used for added suspense in combination with intricate drum edits.
